BROWNSVILLE — People who would like to learn more about the proposed Muddy Creek Energy Park project south of Brownsville may attend a public information meeting at 5 p.m., Tuesday, July 25, at the Community Room at the Brownsville City Hall, 255 Main St.

The facility would be located within a site boundary of approximately 1,588 acres of private land zoned for Exclusive Farm Use (EFU) in Linn County, Oregon.
In addition to the proposed solar photovoltaic arrays, the facility would include an up to 199 MW battery energy storage system; a collector substation; power collection system; approximately 0.5 mile overhead 230 kV transmission line; point of interconnection (POI); perimeter fencing, access roads, and staging areas.
Permitting for the project is via the Oregon Department of Energy.
