2024 Linn County Fair will offer something for everyone

ALBANY — The 2024 Linn County Fair “Music, Food and Whole Lotta Fun “will offer three nights of foot-stomping entertainment featuring Lonestar at 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 18, Lead Singers of Classic Rock at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, July 19 and Chris Lane at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 20.

The Linn County Fair & Expo Center is at 3700 Knox Butte Road, Albany, OR 97322.

The nightly entertainment is included with paid general admission. Reserved seating is available. Learn more at www.linncountyfair.com. General admission is $9 on-line or $10 at the gate. Seniors are $7 and $8. Children $12 and under free thanks to Boshart Trucking. Parking is $5 per day.

 

Thursday, July 18: Lonestar, 8:30 p.m.
Opening the fair with a heartfelt performance is the beloved country band Lonestar. With timeless hits such as "Amazed," "What About Now," and "I'm Already There," Lonestar's rich harmonies and heartfelt lyrics will create a memorable start to this year’s festivities.

Hailey Verhalen opens the show at 7 p.m.

 

Friday, July 19: Lead Singers of Classic Rock Featuring Jason Scheff and Tommy DeCarlo, 7:30 p.m.
The second night of the fair will feature an extraordinary performance by the Lead Singers of Classic Rock, including Jason Scheff, longtime lead singer of Chicago, and Tommy DeCarlo, a former lead singer of Boston.

This special night brings together the iconic voices behind some of the greatest rock bands in history. Attendees can expect an evening filled with classic rock anthems.

 

Saturday, July 20: Chris Lane, 8:30 p.m.
Closing out the main stage entertainment Saturday night is country music star Chris Lane.

Known for his modern country sound and engaging stage presence, Lane has captured hearts with hits like "Find Another Bar," "Fix," "I Don't Know About You," and "Big, Big Plans." His energetic performance will provide a spectacular finale to the fair's musical offerings.

McKayla Marie opens the show at 7 p.m.

In addition to the star-studded main stage performances, the Linn County Fair will offer a variety of attractions including:

  • Hell On Hooves Rodeo Summer Showdown 6 p.m., Thursday, July 18, in the Calapooia Arena. Free with fair admission. 
  • WILD N' WOOLY, 6 p.m., Friday, July 19 in the Calapooia Arena. Free with fair admission. Events: Mutton Bustin', Stick Horse Barrel Race, Goat Tail Untying, Calf Riding and Steer Riding.  Participation ages: 3 to 15 years old. Buckles awarded in all events.
  • Agricultural Exhibits: Showcasing local livestock, produce, and crafts.
  • BINGO for all and free ice cream social for senior citizens
  • Carnival Rides: Thrilling rides and games for all ages.
  • Food Vendors: A diverse selection of delicious food and beverages.
  • Family Activities: Interactive exhibits, stunt shows, and kids' entertainment.
  • Family Land: Featuring Puzzlemania, Megan the Bubbleologist, Eri Haines, Off Axis Stunt Show, Peppy’s Waterpalooza and Slim & Curly.
