Linn County Natural Hazards Mitigation Plan Update Survey: Mitigation Strategy

Linn County and its cities are currently updating our Natural Hazards Mitigation Plan (NHMP). The plan will help you and county, city, and district leaders better understand your risk of natural hazards and help to reduce that risk.

We are currently seeking input on the NHMP’s draft mitigation strategy. You can view the draft as well as a short NHMP overview document on the County’s webpage: https://www.linncountyor.gov/planningbuilding/page/natural-hazard-mitiga....

To provide feedback on the mitigation strategy, please take a few minutes to review the draft and complete this survey. Also, feel free share the survey with other stakeholders or constituents.

The mitigation strategy includes a mission, goals, and actions. Mitigation action items are activities or projects that local jurisdictions can implement to reduce risk, and they are an important part of the NHMP. The NHMP Steering Committee reviewed and updated these actions through a process that involved brainstorming, discussion, review, and revisions. Your feedback will be provided to the Steering Committee for their further consideration.

Thank you for your time!
